In celebration of Venezuela’s Independence Day on July 5, Klavierhaus, New York City’s premier fine piano showroom located at 790 11th Avenue at 54th Street, New York, NY 10019, is hosting a series of Venezuelan Jazz Piano performances throughout July. Produced by Jim Luce and Charles Carlini, the series will feature three of the finest Venezuelan pianists in New York City.
The performances will begin on July 12 with Cesar Orozco, followed by Silvano Monasterios on July 19 and Benito Gonzalez on July 26. These shows will take place at 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm each Wednesday in July, and tickets can be purchased for $25 in advance or $30 at the door by visiting nycjazzpianofestival.com.

Cesar Orozco is a pianist, composer, and arranger who draws inspiration from Cuban and Venezuelan music traditions. He has performed with artists such as Paquito D’Rivera, Pedrito Martinez, and John Patitucci.
